Notes: This is the plain text version of our standard Data Request Form. It is designed for those who can't or don't want to use a formatted version. It may be viewed in Notepad or any text or document editor such as Notepad++. The minimal formatting may look different (i.e. not great!) according to which program you use. There are alternative, more user-friendly versions for use with word processing programmes such as Microsoft Word and Open Office - see the link below. New to txt files? Hint: these files are easier to read if you choose the "word wrap" or equivalent setting from the formatting menu. You may have to shrink or widen the edges of the document window to get the wrap looking nice and readable. Users of GCER data accept that both plants and animals may move location over time, often at short notice, hence LERC records should not be relied upon as the only source of alert to the presence of protected species, or as a substitute for adequate field survey. To avoid breaching wildlife law a site check beforehand is always advisable prior to carrying out works which could potentially damage protected species and/or their homes. ***DATA REQUEST FORM*** Please fill in your request details at the places marked with a dotted line.
